Business Development Manager - Process Filtration
Due to continuing growth of our process filtration portfolio of existing and innovative new products, we have an exciting new opportunity for an entrepreneurial an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Atlas Copco family. This is a home-based position covering the South of England with travel to the UK Head Office in Hemel Hempstead and frequent travel to customer sites based around the Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Reporting to the Process Cooling Solutions Business Line Manager, the successful candidate will be actively involved in setting sales targets within the region.
The role:
Promoting the company’s filtration portfolio and competence development
Interacting and collaborating intensely with various business lines and the Process Filtration competence centre
Achieving and exceeding the expectations in growing and sustaining the new division’s sales to large and medium size accounts reporting to the Process Cooling Solutions Business Line Manager
Delivering sales and Key Account territorial management within the geographical area, in conjunction with the allocated sales routes while working to agreed targets
Increase and develop the levels of customer satisfaction through increased contact with all distributors
Be actively involved with sales product and marketing campaigns in conjunction with the other managers of Atlas Copco within set time scales
Supporting new product introductions
Developing our strategic approach to our distributor network to maximise the development of sales opportunities and margins ensuring loyalty and long-term productive relationships
Updating all data in the required time scales: monthly reports, distributor analysis, forecasting and generated lead information
To succeed, you will need:
Proven track record in sales is essential
Experience within a similar industry or experience in Process Filtration (liquid and gas) is desirable
Highly motivated and able to build strong working relations with colleagues and customers
Excellent social and interpersonal skills
Willing to travel within the region
Valid driving license
