Celebrating Our People This International Women’s Day

At Atlas Copco Group New Zealand, our people are the foundation of everything we do. This International Women’s Day, we are proud to highlight employees whose dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit reflect the culture that drives innovation, excellence, and growth every day.

Our teams bring together diverse backgrounds and experiences, creating a workplace where individuals are encouraged to learn, contribute ideas, and grow professionally. This people-focused culture supports employees across all roles and career stages, empowering them to take on new challenges and continuously develop their skills.

For many employees, empowerment comes from being trusted and supported in their work. As Nikita shares, Empowerment at work means being trusted with responsibility, having the space to ask questions, and knowing that your voice and ideas truly matter. This environment encourages open dialogue and collaboration, helping our teams work together effectively and deliver value for our customers.

International Women's Day 2026

International Women’s Day is also a time to reflect on career journeys and the importance of confidence and growth. Cherie offers this advice to young women starting their careers:
Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself. Growth often comes from stepping outside your comfort zone and learning from your mistakes. You don’t have to be perfect or have everything figured out right away. Believe in yourself, stay curious, and keep learning. Most importantly, find something you genuinely enjoy and pursue it with confidence.

Working in an industrial sector also presents opportunities to bring new perspectives and ideas. As Maneesha reflects on her experience in a traditionally male-dominated industry, I perceive it as an opportunity to learn what female is missing to come to leading tier. Her perspective highlights the importance of continuing to support development, inclusion, and equal opportunities across the workplace.
