Your role

AP Specialist is responsible for processing incoming documents and solving queries in a timely and correct manner, providing support to all related departments.

You will

  1. Sorting, verifying and processing of incoming documents such as invoices, credit notes, statements and reminders
  2. Resolving discrepancies in a timely manner to avoid late payments
  3. Engaging with vendors and internal stakeholders through phone, e-mail, Teams and other communication channels
  4. Addressing all incoming queries (phone, e-mail, Teams and other communication channels)
  5. Participating in reporting and month-end activities
  6. Keeping track of open items pending in AP and ERP systems
  7. Establishing true partnership with vendors and Atlas Copco entities
  8. Adhering to Atlas Copco standard finance processes
  9. Supporting the training of new colleagues
  10. Ensuring that all specific/local specific processes and tasks are documented and documentation kept up to date
  11. Suggesting process improvements to increase quality and efficiency
  12. Initiating vendor master data updates
  13. Following instructions given by superior
  14. Promptly escalating when required using the appropriate channels

To succeed, you will need

  1. Formal Education - Secondary/University education
  2. Work Experience - Good knowledge of standard AP processes
  3. Hard Skills- Advanced level of Microsoft Office, mainly excel.
  4. Language - you speak Czech and Italian, and English
  5. Other Skills
    • Professional verbal and written communication
    • Committed to provide excellent customer service
    • Able to work under own initiative, manage difficult situations and prioritize if necessary
    • Analytical skills
    • Team player
    • Understanding of financial flows is an advantage
