Senior Fitter - Assembly
Responsible for assembling fabricated and purchased parts to exact engineering requirements and aligning with standard operating procedures to meet customer expectations of quality, cost and on-time delivery.
-Understand the sequence of the build in line with requirements.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings.
- Fit and assemble components to meet production requirements.
- Determine the correct equipment and methods to use.
- Participation and involvement with Company Quality Procedure and Standards, ensuring timely identification, communication and recording of all quality issues.
- Responsible for ensuring all work is undertaken in a safe manner and in line.
- Always maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company EHS standards.
- First point of contact to resolve any technical issues.
- Manage continuous improvement projects.
- Schedule and distribute workload.
- Supervise, train and manage a small assembly team.
To succeed, you will need
- 1. ITI Fitter / Electrician.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in related field. Applicants who are already working as assembly Fitter will have added advantage.
