Product Owner & Team Leader - Aftermarket Applications

Informačné technológie Atlas Copco Group Belgicko Antwerp

Your future job

Your role

We are looking for a Product Owner / Team Leader to take ownership of a portfolio of business-critical applications supporting the Operations department within our aftermarket division, and to lead the multidisciplinary Software Development team that develops, maintains and evolves them.

The team consists of software developers and architects and manages applications that support aftermarket operations worldwide. These include tools that collect and structure technical service information, provide guided and AI-supported troubleshooting, evaluate service or work orders, support distributor processes, and perform equipment diagnostics such as vibration analysis.

In this role, you combine product ownership with team leadership. You work closely with stakeholders in aftermarket operations to understand their needs, translate them into a clear roadmap, prioritized backlog and actionable work scope, and guide the development team in delivering valuable, scalable and maintainable applications. You ensure that business priorities, technical feasibility, architectural principles and team capacity are balanced to deliver sustainable value. Because the team is responsible for multiple applications, your focus is not limited to one product. You manage the broader application portfolio for aftermarket operations in close collaboration with business stakeholders, balancing business value, operational impact, stakeholder priorities, dependencies, technical feasibility and long-term maintainability.

This role also looks beyond day-to-day delivery. With AI, automation and emerging technologies changing how software is built and used, you help identify new opportunities, encourage experimentation and prepare the team for future ways of working. You will shape not only the applications we build and maintain, but also how the team works today and how it evolves for tomorrow.

As your key responsibility, you own and drive the application portfolio supporting aftermarket operations, defining and managing the roadmap and backlog while balancing business value, technical feasibility, and long-term sustainability. You work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities, translating them into clear priorities and actionable requirements for the development team. By facilitating prioritization discussions and making trade-offs transparent, you ensure the team remains focused on the initiatives that deliver the greatest impact.

You collaborate with business and IT partners to ensure solutions align with the broader strategy, application landscape, and architectural, integration, security, and maintainability standards. At the same time, you provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team of developers and architects, fostering structure, collaboration, and effective delivery. Finally, you support the growth and development of team members while helping the team adapt to emerging trends such as AI and automation, ensuring it remains innovative, future-ready, and equipped to meet evolving business needs.
