
Your role
To strengthen our Sales Team in Hungary, we are looking for a Sales Engineer – AIRnet & Smart AIRnet.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and driving the AIRnet & Smart AIRnet solutions business across your assigned territory.
Managing and developing existing and new customers within the assigned territory for AIRnet & Smart AIRnet solutions
Actively identifying and developing new project opportunities for compressed air
Working in close coordination with Capital Equipment Sales Engineers (OFA, IAT & CTS ) on prospect development, joint customer visits, and project follow-up
Cooperating with engineering companies, planners, and consultants to ensure AIRnet is specified in master specifications for industrial installations
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales activities, opportunities, and quotations in SAP CRM (C4C)
Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and supporting market development and share growth
Actively participating in customer events, trainings, trade fairs, and marketing activities
Continuously developing your technical, commercial, and personal competencies

Several years of experience in technical sales, ideally within industrial installations, compressed air, piping systems, or related technologies
A strong customer-oriented mindset combined with structured and professional sales execution
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
An independent, proactive, and goal-oriented working style with strong team spirit
Technical education (mechanical, industrial, electrical, or similar) is an advantage
Confident use of MS Office and experience with SAP CRM
- Hungarian language skills on native (mother-tongue) level are mandatory; very good English skills, both written and spoken, are required. German language skills are an advantage.
Willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory

Job location
The role is based in Hungary, with a strong customer-facing focus. The position requires being on customer sites a minimum of three days per week, with the remaining working time performed from home office, and is organizationally assigned to the Budapest office.
