We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer, in Eurochiller Nitra, Part of the Atlas Copco group. Why do we need new methods? Our aim is to adhere to Lean best practice with the goal of further improve the workplace efficiency of our Production environment.

What does Manufacturing/Method Engineer look like?
- He/she makes Lean Thinking and Continuous Process Improvement a part of the organizational culture.
- Our Manufacturing Engineer’s goal is to focus on the activities that customer is willing to pay (Value) as well as to reduce the ones that do not add value to the end customer (Waste).
- After removing the wastes from the value stream, the following action is to ensure that the flow of the remaining steps run smoothly without interruptions or delays.
- If you will join us in this role you will initiate new projects and follow up existing ones, reporting to the Production Manager and cooperating with all the teams to create an efficient and effective organization.
What you will deal with in this role?
- Estimate production times, define balancing and ideal mix
- Define production line layouts according to lean manufacturing concepts
- Create, update and follow up assembly work instructions
- Train and support operators
- Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures
- Work with engineering team to identify and implement process improvements and best practices through 5S and lean principles
- Represent an important link between operators and R&D engineers, playing a key role for new products introduction projects and acting as a production representative in PTMs (Project Team Meetings)
- Optimization of flows for arrival of materials from warehouse to production.
- Reading and ability to draw electrical diagrams.
- The role reports to the Production Manager
What we expect from you?
- You have a Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, 2-3 years of relevant experience in a Lean oriented Manufacturing setting and Demonstrated skill and achievement in implementing Lean practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferably you achieved a certification in Six Sigma and you have proven track of applied methodology in your past experience.
- Experience with electrical equipment, electrical cubicle build-up is a plus, as well as experience with UL electrical cubicles.
- You have an eye for details and don’t shy away from rolling up your sleeves and getting involved whenever necessary.
- We seek for a self-motivated person, able to work under the pressure.
- You are full of energy and can’t wait to work together with Internal Logistics and Production Team and you are happy to organize and optimize the Production environment.
- What else? We need you to be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, experienced with Autocad and e-plan and fluent in English.
