Your role
The purpose of an operative buyer is to execute the day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services needed for the company's operations.
To succeed, you will need
- You will be responsible for purchasing of assigned product groups and services
- You will manage the full purchase order process, from initial request to final delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring their performance
- You will monitoring inventory levels, optimizing stock rotation
- You will resolve day-to-day issues, identifying potential shortages, and taking preventative action to ensure smooth operations
- You will Communicat with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuous operation
- You will escalate issues related to delivery discrepancies, quality problems, and other supply chain challenges
- You will work collaboratively within the Procurement Team to understand and support business strategy
