We are looking for a talented, collaborative, resourceful and entrepreneurial individual to join our Senior Management Team in the role of Business Controller
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, steering the organization's accounting functions to provide percise and timely reporting. A key part of your role will also be to work as a strong business partner to the General Manager and the management team, supporting the business to make the right strategic decisions.
Specific responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable, cost accounting and financial reporting processes to deliver financial stability and strong performance.
- Be a business partner for the General Manager and the management team, providing support and advice based on financial trends and analysis that helps the business to drive continuous improvement and achieve great results.
- Assist the General Manager with the development of our long-range plan.
- Prepare financial and non-financial management reports, present findings and make recommendations to the management team.
- Drive the financial budget process, then provide continued monitoring vs. the actual results.
- Leverage technology such as AI, process automation and other digital tools to create efficiency improvements.
- Lead and manage our local Finance and Customer Support teams in the USA and Mexico.
- Work together with the Group's Shared Services Financial Team to provide financial analysis, accounting and financial reporting services for the business.
To succeed, you will need
- Ideally 5+ years of experience working as a Business Controller in an industrial product sales or manufacturing environment with international subsidiaries.
- Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting.
- MBA and/or CPA would be a plus.
- People management experience. Experience with cross-functional people management is a plus.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and be adaptable to a wide variety of changing analytical situations
- Strong communication skills able communicate complex information in a clear and effective way.
- A high level of computer aptitude specifically in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple concurrent projects and show flexibility to work outside normal business hours.
- Travel will sometimes be required throughout North America, including Mexico and occasional other international travel.

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely 2 days and being on-site 3 days at Chicago Pneumatic Customer Center in Rock Hill SC,South Carolina United States (US)
