Your role
Mission
Provide leadership in Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) management systems.
Lead SHEQ activities across the facility.
Targets
- Facilitate ISO45001, ISO14001, and ISO9001 programs
- Maintain ZERO injury/incident trend
- Address safety concerns with corrective actions
- Monitor and quantify Kaizen card suggestions
Roles and Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Main Responsibilities
- React quickly to safety issues
- Lead ISO45001, ISO14001, and ISO9001 audits; report results; assign and verify CAPAs
- Track safety KPIs: aging, severity, ownership, cost, root cause
- Use tools like fishbone, 5 Whys, 8D, and 5S for solutions
- Maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Promote proactive safety culture
- Review Kaizen cards weekly; assign actions; report completion metrics
- Investigate injuries; implement preventive measures
- Manage safety training; provide monthly topics; lead ERT; arrange 3rd-party training (CPR, BBP, AED)
- Guide Safety Coordinator
- Maintain OSHA 300, 301, 500 logs and required documentation
Environmental Leadership
- Reduce carbon footprint: water, fuel, waste; enforce recycling
- Lead ISO14001 audits; report results; assign and verify CAPAs
- Track metrics; develop improvement plans
- Work with suppliers on SVHC and compliance lists
- Plan preventive maintenance for environmental controls; maintain audit records
- Network with industry peers to share and adopt best practices
- Maintain stormwater and spill control programs
Team & Strategy
- Collaborate with SHEQ Manager on strategy and action plans
- Report monthly KPIs and trends
- Optimize task planning; apply Visual Management
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, corporate guidelines, and procedures
- Motivate team: foster innovation, teamwork, and adaptability

Education and Experience
- BA/BS in Industrial Engineering, Safety, Environmental or related field
- 7+ years EHS experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001
- Experience with safety KPIs, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Led safety steering committees
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiar with EHS tracking systems
- Skilled in training facilitation using multimedia and hands-on methods
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged desk/computer work
- Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
