Responding Through Water For All Philippines
The earthquake that struck Mindanao on June 8 left many communities facing significant challenges, including limited access to clean and safe drinking water. As families coped with the immediate impacts of the disaster, securing a reliable water supply became a pressing concern in several affected areas. Through Water for All, Atlas Copco Philippines organized a relief effort to support communities facing water shortages in the aftermath of the earthquake. Led by the Water for All Philippines Committee, the initiative delivered clean drinking water to areas where access had become limited due to the disaster.
The effort was made possible through collaboration across the organization. While the committee coordinated the response, Atlas Copco Philippines branch employees in Davao helped distribute drinking water directly to affected communities, ensuring support reached those who needed it most. At the same time, the Supply Team provided logistical support, helping facilitate the timely delivery of supplies. Together, their dedication and teamwork enabled Water for All Philippines to respond quickly and effectively to an urgent community need.
