Water for All

Water for All is Atlas Copco Group’s most important social engagement project which is led by employees-volunteers from Atlas Copco Group. Every financial donation which an employee makes, Atlas Copco doubles it. With these funds projects are realized to provide access to clean drinking water or to improve hygiene and sanitation where needed.

The winning project in Rwanda

The purpose of this large scale project was to provide sustainable access to clean drinking water to thousands of people in remote areas. Water for All Belgium cooperated with local people but was involved in the project from A to Z. From the available water source an aorta was made of 60 kilometer of pipes, through villages, schools, market places and hospitals. This way more than 100.000 gained access to clean drinking water.

Water for All's growth

But Water for All Belgium was also recognized for its outstanding work the last years with new memberships, increased donations and more people than ever helped all over the world. Founded 13 years ago, in 2012, the Water for All sponsors have grown tremendously ever since and the team of 15 volunteers have realized many projects and helped millions of people. In 2024 alone 12 projects were run in 8 countries on 3 continents.
