As a business analyst, I am a crucial link between our customers and our development team. I am responsible for identifying business needs and improvement opportunities and translating these insights into clear, actionable requirements.
What were you doing before joining Atlas Copco Group?
I worked as a Life Sciences consultant at a small company focused on optimizing clinical trials. Before that, I worked as a Business Analyst at Accenture. Now I work in a completely different sector, that of compressor technology, but it is just as interesting and challenging.
What education/diploma do you have?
I have a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon in Portugal.
Why did you choose Atlas Copco Group?
I know some people who work at Atlas Copco Group and heard nothing but excellent feedback about the company, the culture and the work environment. When Atlas Copco Airpower opened up the IT position of Business Analyst, I was immediately interested.
What do you like about working at Atlas Copco Group and in your job?
I am deeply impressed by the warmth I received at Atlas Copco Group, which made me feel at home from day one. I am also proud to be part of a company that values diversity, embraces differences and is committed to providing equal opportunities for all, regardless of background.
What are you most proud of and why?
I am most proud of working with customers and our many engineers and learning from their expertise to use that knowledge to further improve our SMARTLINK platform. Not only do we create more effective solutions, we deliver meaningful results for our customers.
How would you describe the work atmosphere?
As collaborative and supportive, where open communication and idea sharing are actively encouraged. It's a place where teamwork is a priority and colleagues help each other achieve common goals.
How is the work-life balance for you?
It is positive. I appreciate the flexibility offered in terms of scheduling and the ability to work from home as well as in the office.
Do you think training is important and do you get it at Atlas Copco Group
Training is essential because it allows you to acquire the knowledge, skills and self-confidence needed to perform your role effectively and with motivation. In just a few months, I have already participated in several training sessions and look forward to continuing to develop new skills in the future.
