These awards matter to us. They recognise the women who are driving innovation, strengthening diversity and shaping the future of industry in Australia. Supporting women in industry is not separate from our business—it is part of how we build stronger teams, better ideas and more sustainable solutions every day.
This year marked a record milestone for the awards, with more nominations than ever before and over 350 industry professionals attending. It is a clear sign that gender diversity and inclusive leadership are gaining momentum across Australia’s industrial sectors.
For us, inclusion is built through action—creating opportunities, supporting talent and making sure people feel seen and valued. This is why we have proudly supported the Women in Industry Awards for more than a decade.
During the evening, Fiona Halliday, Holdings HR Manager – Oceania, spoke on behalf of Atlas Copco Group. She shared reflections from her personal experience alongside our global perspective, highlighting why diverse talent is essential to innovation and long-term progress.
“We know the best solutions do not come from having the same voices in the room—they come from different perspectives, different experiences, and people who are prepared to challenge assumptions and think differently."

Recognising Excellence and Impact
One of the highlights of the evening was recognising Brooke Adamson, Manager Process Operations at Newmont, who was named Woman of the Year. She also received the Excellence in Mining Award—an achievement that reflects both her leadership and the changing face of the mining industry. Her recognition shows how far the industry has come, and why it is important to keep moving forward.
We were especially proud to see Yuan Yuan from Sykes Group, part of Atlas Copco Group, recognised as the winner of the Business Development Success of the Year Award. Her achievement highlights the strength of our people and the role they play in delivering value for our customers while driving growth across the industries we serve.
We would like to congratulate all finalists and winners. Your achievements, leadership and impact continue to shape the future of industry in Australia.
