
Your role
The M365 Platform Technology Lead acts as the primary technical and people leader for the organization’s M365 ecosystem. The mission is to be a bridge between business problems and technical solutions. You will be responsible for the operations center, secure governance, and innovative deployment of low-code solutions (mainly Power Platform, SharePoint), occasionally with .NET-based extentions. You serve as the technical lead for both long-term innovation and immediate incident response.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and upskill a team of M365 developers; conduct code reviews for low-code solutions and establish best practices
- Align Microsoft’s rapid release cycles (including AI and Copilot features) with long-term business goals, ensuring the support for organization
- Manage the full technology lifecycle of M365 services and components, ensuring efficient license allocation and decommissioning of obsolete resources to optimize costs.
- Together with the corporate security and technical team, act as the primary consultant for business units, translating business needs into concrete technical requirements that balance user agility with platform stability.
- Lead the technical response for high-impact platform outages or incidents, ensuring rapid restoration of services and conduct root cause analysis.
- Drive operational efficiency by developing and maintaining robust solutions and overseeing the adaptation of M365 environment.
- Translate complex technical health metrics and project statuses into clear, non-technical reports and presentations for executive leadership and the wider user base.
To succeed, you will need
You have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business management or equivalent through extensive relevant work experience.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in managing enterprise M365 environments, including proven experience in a technical leadership or as a solution architect.
- Deep expertise in M365 environment with focus on low-code services (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, AI builder…).
- Advanced knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access and Identity Governance.
- Proficiency in tenant governance, including lifecycle management, external sharing policies, and license optimization.
- Experience in automation using PowerShell, Python or other languages
- Knowledge of reporting software (Power BI, Tableau, Looker…)
- Basic knowledge of .NET framework is an advantage
- Experience in other low-code/no-code platforms is an advantage
- Ability to lead and motivate team of developers and act as a Technical Mentor
- Ability to align Microsoft’s rapid release cycle with long-term business goals.
- Ability to translate technical requests into tangible business value and user adoption.
- Proven ability to lead the resolution of high-impact platform outages or security incidents.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to balance user requests with platform stability and security.
- Ability to provide clear, non-technical status updates to executives and user audience
- Ability to communicate KPIs to higher management level
