
Power Technique Customer Center - Sales Engineer - Parts
Job Role:
- Work towards achieving the mission statement of the Power Technique Service (PTS) Division India.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude aligned with an efficient, agile, and service-driven organization.
- Be responsible for PTS business in the assigned region, ensuring achievement of spare parts sales targets while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and a win-win approach.
- Generate and manage direct sales with key on-demand accounts. Initiate discussions and drive business recovery from non-buying customers by educating them on the benefits of using genuine spare parts to reduce total cost of ownership.
- Manage and guide the dedicated dealer spare parts sales team to maximize business potential across the territory to achieve dealer targets.
- Drive product promotion initiatives such as digital marketing, service campaigns, telematics leads, and repower business within the assigned territory.
Job Description:
- Evaluate market potential and drive customer share growth.
- Develop strong market intelligence to track spurious parts activities, including pricing and product performance in the territory.
- Manage and generate leads through the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Collaborate closely with field service engineers and the capital equipment sales team to identify and maximize business opportunities.
- Coordinate with PTS marketing to execute promotional schemes and campaigns across various segments and product groups.
- Organize and conduct promotional activities such as digital campaigns, service campaigns, and field events within the territory.
- Efficiently manage individual and dealer leads to maximize conversion and achieve a strong lead-to-order ratio.
- Independently handle spare parts and service quotations.
- Support dealers in negotiating major deals.
- Regularly review pending orders (direct and dealer) and ensure timely execution.
- Ensure adequate inventory is maintained at dealer locations based on the installed base within the territory.
- Build strong end-customer relationships through both direct and indirect channels.
- Strengthen customer retention and drive to maximise the year on year growth.
- Establish annual service contracts and rate contracts with large and key accounts.
- Promote and sell extended warranties for both new and existing machines in the field.
- Monitor account receivables and ensure timely collections.
- Provide timely feedback to parts marketing on peak consumption trends to ensure optimal product availability.
- Ensure daily activity updates in C4C and monitor that dealer sales engineers update their activities in DMS.
- Successfully execute the campaigns / incentive schemes in the territory.

To succeed, you will need
Educational Qualification :
Diploma (or) Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
Knowledge & Experience :
- 4-5 years of relevant service experience with a proven track record of performance and results.
