Water for All North America's $225K Commitment to Clean Water Across Three Continents

In August 2025, Atlas Copco Group’s employee-led Water for All North America organization made its largest-ever single round of funding with donations to three U.S-based charitable organizations.

In the last fifteen years, Atlas Copco’s North American Water for All program has supported 90 projects across 26 countries and helped several hundred-thousand people gain access to clean water – donating over 3.7 million-dollars in the process. This includes domestic disaster relief projects in the U.S. including in Texas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Arizona, New Mexico, North Carolina, and Colorado. For every dollar an employee donates, the company adds another two dollars, making a double match.

Together, we continue to drive sustainable water solutions and work toward ending the global water crisis.

Since 1984 Water for All supports projects that give people in need access to clean drinking water, sanitation and hygiene. It is the Atlas Copco Group’s main community engagement initiative financed by voluntary employee donations which are boosted by the company. In 2017, employees in almost 60 countries were working in established Water for All organizations or involved in starting up national chapters. All in all, since the start of the initiative, around 2 million people have received access to clean drinking water through Water for All.

These contributions reflect our ongoing commitment to clean water access across the U.S. and globally.

Dig Deep – $100,000 | Appalachia, WV, USA

Delivered running water to families in remote areas. Atlas Copco Group has now contributed over $650,000 to U.S. clean water efforts.

Water for People – $75,000 | El Negrito & MAMCEPAZ, Honduras

Funded two new ground-fed systems and rehabilitated WASH facilities in five schools. 

 

Water Mission – $50,000 | North Sumatra, Indonesia

Our first project in Indonesia and first overseas collaboration with Water Mission, supporting decentralized piped water systems.
