
Your role
- Ensure sustainable profitable growth targets for Industrial Vacuum Division through management of the Product Company Engineering team including New Product Introduction and Technical Support.
- Focus on driving innovation, standardization and rationalization of Atlas Copco Industrial Vacuum Division‘s LR products.
- Build and strengthen the Engineering Team demonstrating strong leadership to ensure effective recruitment and selection, objective setting, and development for a multi-skilled engineering team.
- Champion engineering integration and collaboration activities across Industrial Vacuum Division and where appropriate the Vacuum Technique Business Area
- Create new innovative, market leading products and systems with high customer value to support profitable growth while efficiently maintaining and supporting existing products for product company Boshan.
- Support the company’s overall targets and proactively support other departments in any engineering related activity.
To succeed, you will need
Education :Degree in an engineering or science discipline
Relevant previous experience:
• 2 -5 years engineering experience at a management leadership level including of new product development programs, operations, and support activities.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of vacuum pumps, systemized products and their applications in the marketplace.
• Experience in managing design/project initiatives and associated support staff.
• Experience and understanding of supply chain and manufacturing systems.
• A proven ability to manage projects and activities, delivering on time, to specification with strict quality and cost targets (project and product costs).
Language skills: Fluency in English
Other skills and knowledge:
• Sufficient business/commercial awareness to make appropriate proposals to balance potentially conflicting commercial and technical drivers.
• Management expertise to build & develop a cohesive team, to provide leadership & direction, and to foster good communications across project teams & functions.
• Influencing, communication, presentation and negotiating skills at the highest levels, both internally and externally. Able to achieve credibility and command respect. Influencing across functional boundaries is a key element of this role.
• Result-driven, radiant personality, who has strong leadership skills with capability to give enthusiasm to the organization and can communicate effectively
• Experience with cooperating in a decentralized organization working with different processes and development ways.
• Strong computer skills, CAD, 3D, and Solid Works
