Your Role

• To lead a high-performing team to deliver product requirements support in ensuring control and co-ordination of the engineering design to meet specifications, ensuring cost effective solutions that meet the prime cost & product requirements.
• Make engineering and technical decision selecting the best solution to engineering problems.
• Mentor, develop & motivate the engineering team.
• Accountable for system design
• Cooperate with project leaders in development of project plans to meet project deliverables.
• Support the manager to ensure the team have the correct knowledge & skill sets and identify training/development needs.
• Engineering risk identification, control and mitigation. Able to escalate, when necessary, and propose solutions to the manger for consideration.

 
To succeed, you will need  

Education level:Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering
Relevant previous experience:More than 3 years electrical design experience,technical knowledge and experience with motor, inverter, controller, electrical cabinet assembly, system software design and qualification of rotating machinery
Language skills:Fluent English and Chinese both in spoken and written.
Other skills and knowledge:Good skills of Microsoft Office.
Good knowledge of local and global electrical standards (IEC EN60034-1, EN60034-30-1, low voltage directive 2014/35/EU, EMC compatibility 2014/30/EC, CSA/UL/cUL, CCC … )
