
Your role
AP Specialist is responsible for processing incoming documents and solving queries in a timely and correct manner, providing support to all related departments.
You will
- Sorting, verifying and processing of incoming documents such as invoices, credit notes, statements and reminders
- Resolving discrepancies in a timely manner to avoid late payments
- Engaging with vendors and internal stakeholders through phone, e-mail, Teams and other communication channels
- Addressing all incoming queries (phone, e-mail, Teams and other communication channels)
- Participating in reporting and month-end activities
- Keeping track of open items pending in AP and ERP systems
- Establishing true partnership with vendors and Atlas Copco entities
- Adhering to Atlas Copco standard finance processes
- Supporting the training of new colleagues
- Ensuring that all specific/local specific processes and tasks are documented and documentation kept up to date
- Suggesting process improvements to increase quality and efficiency
- Initiating vendor master data updates
- Following instructions given by superior
- Promptly escalating when required using the appropriate channels
To succeed, you will need
- Formal Education - Secondary/University education
- Work Experience - Good knowledge of standard AP processes
- Hard Skills- Advanced level of Microsoft Office, mainly excel.
- Language - you speak Czech and Italian, and English
- Other Skills
