We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Processor (Contract) to join our team. As a Data Processor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our SAP masterdata, specifically focusing on the NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) industry codes. Your primary responsibility will be to compare our SAP masterdata against a reference database to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data processing tasks to compare the data quality of our SAP masterdata, specifically the NAICS industry codes, against a reference database (Moody’s)
- Conduct thorough analyses and comparisons to identify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, or missing data in the masterdata.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to understand the business requirements and ensure the accuracy of NAICS industry codes within our SAP system.
- Execute data cleansing and standardization processes to resolve identified discrepancies, ensuring that the masterdata aligns with the reference database.
- Utilize data validation techniques and tools to verify the integrity and reliability of the NAICS industry codes.
- Monitor and track data quality metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Proactively suggest process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Management, Business Analytics) or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of data processing techniques, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience working with SAP masterdata and familiarity with the NAICS industry classification system is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis and comparison using tools such as Excel, SQL, or other relevant software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify patterns, trends, and inconsistencies within data sets.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with data cleansing and standardization techniques would be advantageous.
