Water for All USA Funds Global Water Projects in Celebration of America 250

Atlas Copco Group’s Water for All organization in the United States has approved $300,000 of funding for three large-scale water projects as part of the company’s America 250 celebrations.

The funding, which will be distributed throughout the summer, will support U.S.-based nonprofit organizations working to improve access to safe water and sanitation in communities around the world. These initiatives reflect the enduring spirit of American philanthropy and the generosity of our employees, supported by the company, who are committed to driving positive global change.

Project 1: Charity Water

A donation of $150,000 to charity: water will deliver 15 water projects in Uganda, providing clean water access to approximately 3,900 people through wells and piped systems. This is part of charity: water’s Football Takes Water summer campaign, a global, high-visibility initiative tied to soccer. Atlas Copco Group has supported charity: water for 17 years, with more than $2 million donated. Over that time, Atlas Copco Group has directly supported 273 water points, delivering clean water to more than 57,000 people.

Project 2: Water Mission

A donation of $50,000 to Water Mission will expand water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) access in the Iquitos and Piura regions of Peru. The program will support water systems, sanitation programs, and ongoing maintenance, delivering both immediate and sustained impact through a community-based model. Up to 3,000 people will be positively impacted by this project. Atlas Copco’s Group’s first ever Water for All donation was made to Peru in 1984, following a devastating draught.

Project 3: Water for People

A donation of $100,000 will support Water for People’s efforts to expand sustainable water and sanitation access across rural Honduras, including Chinda, El Negrito, and San Antonio de Cortés. The initiative focuses on strengthening infrastructure and long-term systems at the community, municipal, and national levels, with an emphasis on underserved populations and climate resilience. Up to 5,000 people will be positively impacted by this project. This continues our support for Honduras over the last 5-years.

These projects build on earlier 2026 efforts, including a $100,000 domestic donation to Dig Deep in support of the New Haven Water Project in Fayette County, West Virginia. This investment is helping accelerate the installation of new service lines, improving health outcomes and quality of life across Appalachian communities.

Water for All is Atlas Copco Group’s primary community engagement initiative, funded through voluntary employee donations that are double matched by the company. Since 2010, the U.S. organization has contributed nearly $4.5 million to support water, sanitation, and hygiene initiatives worldwide.
