Over the past 75 years, Atlas Copco has been proud to contribute to the construction of some of the most iconic landmarks across the United States. Along with playing a vital role in building essential infrastructure and in equipping U.S. manufacturers with the technology they need to produce industry-leading products. Acquisitions have been a major part of Atlas Copco’s history, strategy, and continued success—nearly doubling our presence and workforce over the past decade.
To commemorate this milestone, the entire Atlas Copco Group came together in celebration. Under the theme “What’s your story?”, employees shared heartfelt memories and reflections, which were captured in an anniversary mural. Employees also took a nostalgic journey through old publications, advertisements, and photographs.

Your passion and dedication have shaped who we are today,” said Aaron Prato, VP Holding at Atlas Copco North America Inc. “We are proud of the innovation we bring to our customers, and we will continue our mission to grow and drive society forward. The journey has been 75 years, but I can assure you—we’re only just getting started.”
Atlas Copco was founded in 1873 in Sweden and celebrated its 152nd global anniversary in 2025. Today, across the United States, the Atlas Copco Group operates more than 140 locations—including 25 production, remanufacturing, or distribution facilities—and employs over 7,000 people.
