Atlas Copco Group's presence in Indonesia began in 1982, commenced a joint venture with local company PT. Atlasco Sakti, as the sole agent for Atlas Copco Brand.
In 1992, PT.Atlasco Sakti change the name to PT.Airindo Sakti and was appointed as distributors for several brands, including Atlas Copco. As part of its commitment ro strengthening its presence in Indonesia, Atlas Copco established a wholly sales and service organization in 1998, and officially and to focus its presence in Indonesia, officially registering PT. Atlas Copco Indonesia. This marked the beginning of the company's continued growth and longterm commitment to supporting customers across the country.
And since 2010, Atlas Copco has expanded its footprint by establishing branches in major cities in Indonesia.
