Atlas Copcos acquisition of the compressor company Thome-Crepelle is finalized

Stockholm, May 30, 1997 -- Atlas Copco France Holding SA has acquired the French compressor company Thomé-Crépelle. Seller is Compagnie Fives-Lille, a French listed company.
Atlas Copco first announced its plans to acquire Thomé-Crépelle in March this year. The French compressor company primarily manufactures reciprocating piston compressors. Thomé-Crépelle is located in Lille and has some 200 employees. In 1996, the turnover amounted to FRF 196 m. (SEK 255m).
