Your role
As a Balance/Spin Technician, you will deliver precise and reliable balancing and testing of rotating components to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will report to the Core Manufacturing Supervisor. The hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:30 am.
As a key member of our team you will:
- Perform precision balancing of rotating components (shafts, impellers, rotor assemblies) using low-speed and high-speed balancing machines.
- Conduct Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) and related testing, including interpreting results and documenting findings.
- Set up and operate run-out measuring equipment and other specialized tools to verify tolerances and part accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain balance reports and inspection documentation using computer systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA) while working independently on second shift with minimal supervision.

You have at least 3 years of machining or other relevant experience.
- You have a good mechanical aptitude.
- You are proficient in the use of precision measuring tools.
- You can read and understand machining drawings.
- You are organized with good verbal and written communication skills.

- Competitive Pay: Earn a solid wage that reflects your experience and skills, with opportunities to grow. Base salary ranges from $31.00 to $47.00 hourly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. As an employee working 2nd shift you will also be entitled to a 10% shift differential.
