Atlas Copco acquires compressor distributor in central Europe

Stockholm, Sweden, May 2, 2016: Atlas Copco, a leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, has acquired the compressor business of Kohler Druckluft, with operations in Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Kohler Druckluft is based in Eschen, Liechtenstein, and has about 30 employees. The company is an authorized Atlas Copco compressor distributor and specializes in selling, renting out and servicing industrial air compressors and air treatment systems. “This acquisition will let us further improve our customer interaction in central Europe, supported by a fantastic team,” said Nico Delvaux, President of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The acquired company becomes part of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area.
