Meet Fareeda Paisanjit from Thailand

Fareeda Paisanjit is a finance and economics student at the Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand. She is one of the participants in the 2021 Global Industrial Internship Program in the Industrial Technique Business Area.

Education: Studying Finance and Economics at the Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand

Country of placement: Thailand

Field of work: Business Controller - South East Asia Region in Industrial Technique 

Interests: Passionate about wakeboarding. ”I like this sport because I get to exercise every muscle in my body and I get to push myself to my limits.”

During the internship Fareeda will be working from Atlas Copco’s office in the Chachoengsao province. More specifically, she is positioned in the financial controller department within  Industrial Technique.  “I’m very excited to work here, people seem very professional and kind,” Fareeda says and explains that she, during this time, will be supported by a dedicated mentor in the company.

The Internship Program also includes a global project over the summer months. As such, Fareeda will dedicate her efforts to an Employer Branding project together with five other student interns. “We are a team of people from China, Sweden, Turkey and myself from Thailand“ she says.  

Gaining a deeper understanding of the business

Fareeda came across the Internship Program through a video on Atlas Copco’s YouTube channel. “After seeing the video, I did a lot of research about the company to learn more about the business, the company vision and the attitude of people in the organization,” she explains. “I look forward to cooperating with the students in the Internship Program and with colleagues here in Atlas Copco, I think it will be a lot of fun” she says. Apart from gaining work experience, she hopes to get a deeper understanding of the business as well as the chance to contribute with her knowledge and ideas.
