Mission/Purpose of the Job
This is a strategic sales role responsible for directly driving global sales growth and profitability for Turbomolecular pump Business Unit globally and all VSC product lines in Asia. This role will work closely with the Customer Centres for order bookings & revenue forecast and provide necessary support to achieve the business goals. This role also works with Market Development and Product Management to promote new business and increase market share..
Main Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee the monthly/quarterly/annual Order Received and Order Invoiced forecast for the division. Interface with and hold accountable all regional Customer Centres to order bookings, revenue and profitability commits.
- Work with SIOP team to ensure alignment and integrity of financial forecast and demand forecast by the Customer Centres.
- Work with Product Management to develop pricing strategy for product portfolio, key customers & market segments.
- Identify opportunities for profitability improvement by working with the Account Managers on pricing and with Product Management on product cost.
- Support Customer Centres, Market Development and Product Management on Share & Penetration projects and Technical Review Meetings at key OEM customers.
- Support Product Management in New Product Introduction projects and sales promotion.
Manage an effective prioritization, allocation, and escalation process with SIOP and Product Companies to ensure optimum shipment to meet customer commitment and revenue and profitability targets for the VSC Division
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Education level:
- Degree Level or higher in Science or Engineering discipline or equivalent
Relevant previous experience:
- Min 8 Years’ sales and marketing related experience within a combination of the semiconductor, coating and analytical industry, preferably from semiconductor manufacturing equipment company
- Creative & Strategic thinking skills – essential
- Business analytics skills – essential
- Ability to motivate and drive cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Excellent teamwork skills. Good negotiation skills
- Excellent communication & proven English skills. Proven presentation skills (written/verbal)
- Problem-solving aptitude. Commercial and customer focus
- Good understanding in operational execution in a dynamic market
- Knowledge of Vacuum technologies (preferred)
- Good working knowledge of SAP, CRM/C4C, Power BI and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Language skills:
- Fluent English and Japanese Essential –Korean, Chinese useful
