Mission

As Business Controller Product Company Pan-Asia you will take a key role in the control and guidance of our company’s financial results, including forecasting, analysis, and providing support to the General Manager. You will Working closely with General Manager and management team to ensure that Business Control is aligned with organization's strategy and its current and long-term business objectives; Fundamentals in your mission are to develop and continuously improve financial management and business control processes.  Support the General Manager in making the right business decisions and ensure profitable growth.

Job description

Through accurate, relevant and timely business & financial analysis, support general management in making effective business decisions.
To provide good tools and analysis to the management team to support our ambitious targets for growth and profitability.
To secure that adequate internal control processes are in place and that Group standards and processes are implemented.
To raise “red flags” to operational management whenever compliance with sound business principles are at risk.
To safeguard a good internal control environment in order to protect the company’s assets.
Establish and monitor the product company labor and overhead rates including review and analysis of actual costs versus estimates
To manage and develop a professional, highly competent business control team that operates within a good team spirit.
Take care of the legal aspects of the business
You will further build and strengthen the cooperation with the internal service providers to ensure common success.

 
To succeed, you will need  

Experience requirements

Thorough knowledge of "The Way We Do Things" is required, as well as demonstrated leadership in implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with "The Way", Finance & Administration procedures (FAM), and operating (BPCS) and reporting systems.
Successful experience in people management, project management, and team building is required.
Proven track record of focus on quality, accuracy, deadlines and orderly work;
 

Knowledge/Educational requirements

The candidate will also have broad experience as Financial Manager/Business Controller in Product Companies.
Proficiency in the use of PC applications, BPCS, Prisma, Crystal Bridge, MS office and Outlook is required. Fluency in English is required.

The successful candidate will have a university degree in Finance/Business Administration.

Familiar with QSHE requirements: control department’s running risks.

Personality requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong personal drive to support and contribute to the Company's growth strategy,and will be interested in taking an active role in the daily operations of the Company, including having a good understanding of what is actually driving performance. 
He/she must have strong analytical skills and a broad understanding of the business.
The successful candidate will have a key role in the Management Team and will be able to work both independently and in a team. 
He/she will be a proven leader who is able to manage stress with a very heavy workload, and has excellent communication skills.
