The role will involve:

Setting the global account strategy for this critical customer account.   Bringing together the account on a global level by connecting the Customer Centre teams in other regions into this strategy and being the primary support for the customer.

To lead the sales organization and drive the sales channels and supporting infrastructure to establish a world leading position for the Edwards brand in the North America region

To contribute to the growth and capability development of the North America Customer Center and the strategic goals of the SEMI Division, Chamber solutions Division and Vacuum Technique.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Global sales and marketing strategies to expand Edwards strong market position and target new areas for growth to achieve agreed sales revenue and margin goals.
  • Bringing together the account on a global level by connecting the Customer Centre teams in other regions and ensuring consistency on how we manage the multiple customer interfaces
  • Work in partnership with the divisional marketing and senior leadership teams to ensure an optimum market and product strategy for success at the OEM customer.
  • P&L responsibility to include, revenue, direct sale merging, operational profit and networking capital in line with divisional business goals.
  • Lead major sales negotiations for the business lines in the global account driving profitability and revenue growth for the broad chamber, subfab and service portfolios.
  • Ownership and execution of the Share and penetration objectives for all three Semi Divisions.
  • Own and drive monthly account Business Review Meetings (BRM) with Divisional management teams.
  • Drive organizational structure and skills in the Edwards team to develop deep technical relationships at OEM at all levels.
  • Develop deep relationships with the customer R&D technology teams within the account through application and technology interactions- planning to ensure we bring the right Edwards technical people from division and product company for the right technology review meetings to drive a deeper understanding of the customer needs.
  • Ensure early engagements on all leading edge OEM projects and host TRM’s to drive engagements and information sharing
  • Lead, motivate and develop the technical, operational/commercial and support team towards continuous success, personal development and achievement of KPI’s , engagement and growth targets.
  • Grow and develop talent within the business line ensuring key talent is identified, nurtured and succession plans are established.
  • Safeguard a safe and healthy working environment.

Education / Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent working experience in liue of degree is acceptable.
  • Experience in Semiconductor industry preferred.
  • Background in the Vacuum & Abatement industry preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales and marketing and service – 5+ years.
  • Sound commercial awareness – 5+ year’s commercial experience.
  • Proven experience in the effective use of CRM systems and sales & operational processes.
  • Possession of business acumen, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic and conceptual capability to lead and develop a regional business.
  • Very strong customer orientated attitude• Dynamic with strong entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
  • Proactive.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Able to empower team members and work as part of a team.
  • Keen interest in culture and the way of doing business in the country /region.
