Job description

As Steam Generator Project Engineer UK, you will take the full responsibility for steam generation project implementation from concept to conclusion. Your job responsibilities are including - but not limited to - the following: - Assist UK and European sales teams with customer enquiries. Ensuring that client requirements are fully realised. - Coordinate with European boiler organization with regards appropriate selection of equipment, ancillaries, logistics and service support. - Coordinate with UK notified bodies, ensuring that all equipment is supplied in accordance with UK legislation. - Manage ongoing projects via site visits, ensuring that client requests are met in a timely manner. - Coordinate with rental desk, ensuring that project costs are monitored, reported and invoiced correctly. - Develop and promote UK boiler rental market, within defined targets - Prepare monthly report regards progress of current and future projects to Sales and Operations management.

Experience requirements

To succeed in this position, you need experience within the steam industry.

Knowledge

Knowledge of the steam boiler industry Technical knowledge of steam boilers and their relevant legislative requirements Ability to manage projects Knowledge of Windows Office, Excel and appropriate Microsoft applications and AutoCAD. Good analytical and organisation skills Understands and interprets technical drawings and diagrams. Ability to create technical & project drawings in AutoCAD Maintain clear focus on customer satisfaction; take action when needed to meet or exceed the expectations of the customer Understand and demonstrate an awareness of the link between their role and the business.

Educational requirements

City & Guilds / BTEC equivalent or industry relevant qualifications. Certified accreditation within the boiler industry is desired, but not deemed necessary.

Ability to communicate with all levels of management personnel Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. A self-starter, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. Competent and confident. With the ability to work with little supervision.
