Giulio Mazzalupi new President for Atlas Copco after Michael Treschow

Mr. Giulio Mazzalupi has been appointed President and CEO of the Atlas Copco Group, based in Sweden. He will succeed Mr. Michael Treschow, who will become President of the Electrolux Group. Mr. Treschow will leave his position in connection with Atlas Copco's Annual General Meeting on April 22 after 22 years of duty in Atlas Copco, the last six years as President and CEO.

Mr. Giulio Mazzalupi, born 1940, graduated at the Rome University, Faculty Mining Engineer, has been with Atlas Copco in a variety of positions since 1971. 1991 he was appointed Senior Executive Vice President and Manager of the Compressor Technique business area. Mr. Mazzalupi will be the first non-Swede in this position.
